Vicious 9mm Round (Multiple Threads)

I wouldn't expect this to be legal for long & would hate to be the person to have to go to court & explain using it for self defense, but the video's are kind of cool.

I really don't see what you are worried about, if you shoot someone it is to kill them, to shoot just to wound or scare them will probably cost you or your loved ones their life. When you decide to shoot make it for good.

I have no idea if the ammo is good or bad...but I will say this: I am a little tired of manufacturers in the gun community naming their products as if their second job is playing guitar for a death metal band. In the world of gun politics, perception can be more powerful than reality, and I just don't understand why people want to use such little class in their product marketing. I wouldn't buy this ammo if it were the best ever made.

Seems like it way over penetrates and you'd possibly kill one or more bystanders with the shrapnel after the round fragments. The watermelon pic was awesome though!

Same reason I would never own a Taurus Judge for self defense. I can hear it now...

"The gun you shot my client with was called The Judge, correct? Well you took it into your hands to be the Judge, Jury, and Executioner... "

Don't get me wrong, a good shoot is a good shoot. I'm not into internet wisdom as I carry my own reloads for my CCW, but yeah... the names of this crap? Gimme a break. Cool ammo and cool vid for sure though.

There is no friendly way to shoot someone......

Even though we train to stop the threat, rest assured, the next-of-kin's civil attorney will be showing these videos to the jury rsponsible for the financial judgement to follow........

Pretty cool videos though!

This is why my limited run Colt 1911 with a S/N starting with "Combat XXX:" is not my primary EDC!

Interesting legal perspectives…

But I would rather be explaining my actions to a jury instead of mourning the loss of a loved one. And that explanation would include using the weapon and ammo combination I am most comfortable with regardless of its name.
