22 Ammo shortage ending?

Went to my local gander mountain and they had a ton of 9mm and 40, 45 and a ton of 22 from thunderbolt, standard velocity, winchester m22, federal champion, cci quiet, federal auto match and this was late in the day and many people were in the store. Happy the shortage is ending!
Bought three tubs of this stuff. 36 grain copper plated hollow point.

Same stuff as whats in federal bulk 525 blue boxes, just different package. Which is good because my nikon rimfire scope is sighted in for federal bulk!

Not in my area. I like the packaging though, as long as they are not charging more.

.22 is still scarce in NJ but, I did score a 500 round box of Remington thunderbolts at Dick's for $23. I was there getting football equipment and happened to get the last box.

Basspro has had consistent supply of all pistol ammo and 22lr for a few months now. It's certainly getting better.

i wouldn't say ended in our parts....but it is getting a bit better.....

week days you do ok....weekends everything gets wiped out....22 is still a bit of a hunt....but you do find it now and then.

everything else is looking ok.

Same here. You have to be in the right place at the right time but there is some availability.

Ammo seems to be getting better but it needs to be better for two months before the shortage is over. I've seen a week spurt of ammo before during the shortage only to run out again.

I was in one of my local Gander Mountains on Saturday and they had everything. More ammo on the shelves all at once than I've seen in months and months.

Winchester white box and other bulk 9mm, 45, 44, 38, I guess I didn't see any .357 or 10mm, but I'm never really looking for them anyway. And .22lr. Tons and tons of glorious .22.

I saw the Federal 325 packs with resealable lid (got one), CCI Standard (got some) and lots and lots of Winchester bulk (got one). Then Fleet Farm called and informed me they had a 100 pack of Mini Mags waiting, so I ran over there too since it was in the 'hood.
So all in all a good day. Got about 1000 rounds of 22 and 300 9mm.

Say what you will about Gouger Mountain and their prices, I know I do. But they have been the most consistent around here with getting and keeping ammo on the shelves, and they haven't really raised their prices. Guns and other merchandise are a different story of course But my attitude about Gander has changed a little bit from last year.
Good luck on the hunt guys.
