I wish. Five years ago I might have seen a few 22 casings laying around but now it is by far the most shot ammo at the range. People talk about hoarding but I think most of it is being shot at ranges.

Everything else is getting picked up by the reloaders due to the shortage and higher prices on everything else. I think there are just a lot more guns out there thanks to you know who.

Yes there sure are a lot more guns out there. Here in Vegas gun regies are up 50% and we only reg pistols not long guns.

Looks like my station at the range Tuesday. I made it a "rimfire day" and that's all I shot.

At my local gun range we clean up after ourselves and your membership hinges on just that. This just shows a clear lack of self respect for the decent range members. Looks like a good place to start a land fill to me.

Interesting, at the two local ranges here (both outdoors), there's no rule to pick up brass. It just piles up and gets trampled down. (but the reloaders come in after hours to take all the stuff in good condition).

Even if my local range didn't require cleaning up your brass, I would never leave that kind of mess for someone else to clean up.

I have noticed a lot more .22 LR being shot at my club due to cost and low supply of center fire rounds, but all the new pistols such as the SR22p that are really popular and selling as fast as they are made is creating a big demand for .22LR ammo.
