Herter's Select-Grade Ammo

Yesterday I purchased some Herter's Select-Grade 115 grain 9mm ammo online. I got these for my LC9. I've read mixed reviews on this ammo.
Any thoughts on this brand ?

Thanks

Herter's, Wolf and Tula have always fired and cycled in my Glock's.....only way to know for sure is to go shoot them and see if your pistol likes them or not........

I bought the Herter's Select Grade .357 for my GP 100 because it was the only ammo I could find at a decent price. Shot a hundred rounds of it this weekend, and it worked fine.

I've only read the reviews on a couple of forums. Some swear by it others do not.
Supposedly it's made by Sellior & Bellot at a plant in Russia.

I'm sure several of us would like to hear your impressions after you fire it from your LC9.

I purchased a load of .38 and .357 Herter's last year when it was on sale. Xlnt ammo ... and the brass is great for reloads. Both calibers were manufactured by Fiocchi in the USA ... printed on the box. Cabella's probably contracts with several manufacturers.

Let us know how the 9mm performs and who made it.

I bought some 40 S&W for my SR40C and had several that I had to re-strike to fire. I cleaned the striker and while that did reduce the number I had, I still had a few light strikes. I've heard of this issue for the SR40C before, but with this particular pistol, it's the only time I've experienced that with any ammo including; WWB, Federal Champion, Tula, Fiochhi, PDX1, or Ranger T. I also got some 380 ACP for my PT738 TCP and didn't have any issues with it in 50 rounds. It's nice looking ammo made by Sellier and Bellot, but I guess you'll just have to run some through you pistol to see how it works.

I have bought 20 boxes of the 9mm in the past with great results at the range & using the brass for reloading. just like your .38 & .357 it's manufactured by Fiocchi in the USA. Now the yellow box Herter's International is made in Russia using steel cases & berdan primers & I had lots of misfires with the .380 & 9mm, but Cabela's refunded the money. Excellent customer service!

I still have 2700 rounds of Herters 115gr 9mm's left from a Cabelas order 2 years ago. I have fired the other 2000 rounds through every one of my 9mm handguns which are Glock's 17 & 26, Sig Sauer's P-226 elite & P-250, Kimber's Team Match II & Pro Carry, FNH's FNP-9, FNX-9 & FNS-9, Taurus's 709 slim, PT-99AF, Millenium Pro & 24/7 Pro, Springfield's EMP, Loaded operator & XDM-3.8, Caracal 9C, Kel-Tec's P-11, PF-9 & Sub 2000, H&K's UMP & USP-9's, Beretta's 92 & PX-4 Storm, Belgium Browning Hi-Power, German Deutch Waffin 9mm Luger, Star Firestar 9mm, Colt's New Agent & Defender 9mm's, Magnum research Baby Desert Eagle, STI Tactical 9mm, EA Witness 9mm, Walther P-38, Norinco NP-22, Kahr's K-9 & P9, CZ's 75 & P-01, Bushmaster Carbon 15-21S, Para USA LDA-9mm & finally my Ruger P-95 which is my only remaining Ruger polymer pistol. I have fired Herters FMJ's in all 41 of my above mentioned 9mm's with no problems to speak of and yes, I do like the 9mm cartridge but it's certainly not my favorite, that honor goes to the .357 Sig....Sorry but I don't have the time to list all of them now.
