I know a lot of people on this forum tend to be skeptical/ hard of GunBroker, but I have purchase quite a bit of ammo though the site for "currently" resonable pricing and didn't have to wait on backorders or get ripped off. That being said... you have to watch other sites and your LGS to see what price point they are selling for. If you have the time to play the GB game... you can find what you are looking for and not get beat up.

I've had good experiences with Bud's as well (though I haven't ordered ammo from them). Makes me wonder why some of the local gun shops around here refuse to accept transfers from them.

I have been getting fair prices on 9mm off of Gun Broker. Careful as most have gone over $30+ a box so I avoid those. Last 750 averaged $26/50 delivered

I've ordered from Luckygunner, SGAmmo, Palmetto State Armory and CTD. Rankings based on price and customer service...
1. Palmetto State Armory
2. SGAmmo
3. Luckygunner
4. CTD
I would order from all but prefer the top 3. Also will continue to search and order from other reputable vendors as necessary.

I made a couple of purchases through GunBroker, but I searched the obscure portions of the site, I was the only bidder on 5 of 6 auctions, I did better than my LGS on pricing.
I feel like I got very fair pricing in this enviroment, the way some internet retailers are jacking up the prices, I'm actualy feeling pretty good.

I'm surprised that in all these responses no one has mentioned Ammotogo.com I've only used them a few times but found their website well put together and their service very good.
You'll also find them if you Google Ammo to go. |

I was on gunbot today...saw widener's pop up with wolf fmj 9mm $125/500ct...
Dang good deal on what I THINK is a good product although I have not ever used any...yet...
Got to the checkout and they wanted personal data beyond what is needed...
AND wanted a picture of my driver's license emailed to them...
Understandably they want to C-Thier-A...
However...other online ammo purchases have NOT done that to me and there is NO way I am going to honor those requests...furthermore...imo...anyone who does indulge a business with kind of practice of emailing a pic of your driver's license is taking way more personal risk than they could possibly gain saving a buck or two on low priced ammo...
Once again I don't fault them...but no way do I comply either...no sale...and no hard feelings...

I do most of my shopping (not just shooting supplies) online... I'm lazy and I hate malls!
I have very few and very minor issues with any purchases. I use one card specifically for online items and make sure the company is reputable.
I haven't seen anyone mention AIMSurplus.com. I've used them a number of times and have had great results with them, no issues other than availability!
