| Why the hell is it so hard to find good 22LR ammo?
I know there is a ton of firearm fiasco going on right now with recent events and what not, but when will ammo become more available?
I'm looking for high velocity 22LR ammo and it's basically no-dice.
Any comments/suggestions are welcome.

Seems to me there's been a run an all kinds ammo including 22LR. I bought about 1500 rounds over the past 2 weeks wherever I could find them, and now they're extremely scarce.
I can only speculate that after a few months, things will settle down and availability will increase. Otherwise, it will be pure supply and demand with little supply and high demand causing prices to skyrocket.

It's a popular round for the preppers and when you combine that with the current political agenda .... poof.... no ammo.

I know I've looked everywhere you can't find any. The Walmarts in Vegas usually always have CCI Mimi's and sometimes Federal bulk. Now nothing. I see why I was in Walmart the other day and there was a guy with a shopping cart in front of the ammo case. He was even taking ammo that he had no guns for. He said I'll give it to my friends. It was short before he started and there was nothing really great to start with. But he still took anything he could get his hands on. No wonder we can't get any.
The LGS's here all rent full auto guns to the tourists so they're tight with their ammo. Before the s hit the fan. My buggy in gun store was going to sell me 1000 rds of 223 for $354.00. I didn't take it then. Three days later the S hit the fan now forget. They need it for rental guns as they get a buck for these " machine gun experiances". hopefully things will cool down.

I think people are hoarding the ammo because they are waiting for the other shoe to drop. many states have pending legislation to change the rules about firearms. Until this political nonsense goes away ammo will be hard to come buy.

I've heard 6 to9 months for things to get back to normal. I'm glad I'm a bit ahead on reloading supplies.

People are paying $2000 and up for used AR's that cost $1200 new in October. Anyone that over pays for ammo or weapons is going to be in for a big let down.

I did git my 3 box limit of thunderbolts at wallys today. they had 13 50 packs of it. first time in 3 months they had anything to fit in a handgun
