I bought a box at Wal-Mart for practice and was veru underwhelmed by it's performance. Almost every round failed to feed, hanging up on the feed ramp. Hornady, Federal, Fiocchi, and Winchester feed without one hang up, so it's the ammo. Now I'm not specifically knocking Tula. Ir works fine in my AR-15, 9MM Pistols, and in my Glock 21 .45. It's accurate enough in .380, but just won't feed. Anyone else try Tula?
I Love Tula. Well I love Tula in certain guns I should say. My Kel-Tec .380 hates it to the point I scewed up an extrator with it. Kel-Tec doesn't recommend steel cased ammo BTW. My Makarov and all my Rugers eat it like a fat kid eats candy. Accurate enough. Not anymore dirty than other "cheaper" brands and hey the price is right.
I've used quite a bit of TulAmmo in 9mm, .40 S&W and .45 ACP without any problems.
The .380 ACP gave my BG380 serious problems. It totally locked up the pistol. Tried to cycle it through my Sig P238 and it did the same thing. I'm guessing some kind of problem with their .380 ACP???
My LC9 did not like Tula too much. I stopped using it.
