I think it is 'funny' that putting these components together in an assembled live round has NO limits ... Somehow, having live rounds stored is different than having components stored.
Of course, one needs to properly store the components. I store all my powder well away from my primers. It is not a good idea to store them near each other for safety reasons.

I have nothing compared to you guys. Some of you have the cost of a good pickup truck in ammo!
Only thing I have allot of is .22lr and that is probably $100 worth. I have 4 or 5 boxes each of .45acp, .357, .38 or .38+, and 3 boxes of .223. I thought that was pretty good.

I just went to the gun show this weekend. I now have around 8 bricks of .22 LR with about 500 loaded between the 7x57 Mauser and .30-06. That makes about 4500 rounds of ammo. Also, I have components to make about 5000 rounds more.
I used to shoot a ton of the high power. That is getting a bit pricey, so I switched over to shooting a lot of .22LR. I will be going back to high power when I go out and purchase a chronograph.

Speaking of not enough ammo, I've seen several good sales on .225/5.56 for 1k round cases. I'm looking for as good a sale on .308 which it is getting a little better. I also saw some good deals on .40 and .380, which don't go on sale often. PSA is one of the places with the good sales AND they've got free shipping for the rest of the day. Natchez and ammo cheaper had some good deals going, as well.

| Like they say...Happiness is a warm gun. I am kind of fond of ..."speak softly and carry a big stick". That works for me too. Like I said earlier, ammunition and guns aint getting any cheaper. I look at it as an investment more than hording and excess.

Yesterday added about 2000 rounds .22LR, 300 rounds .38, and 200 rounds .357, so I'm not to where I want to keep on hand allowing for lots of shooting( 10000.22LR, 5000 .38, and 2000 .357, 2000 .45), but Im getting there.
