I knew Fiocchi made 158 gr 9mm -- it's in their catalog, even though I've never seen it for sale anywhere. Now I know at least two companies in the world go that heavy.

Is this for folks who want to replicate the ballistics of a .38+P -- same bullet weight & same diameter (unless one wants to nit pick over .001").

The 38gr American Eagle gave 1114.33 FPS/ 104.75 LBS average out of the M3 5.5" barrel. Shot really good.

The 9mm 158gr gave 901, 859, 876, 852, 854, 891. Average = 872.17 FPS/ 266.81 LBS out of my XD 4" and subsonic. Cycled just fine!

where did you pick that up at? interesting... not sure it accomplishes anything more than the 147 grain loading can do, but interesting.

It is easy shooting and accurate. I didn't do a volume check on it but I would imagine it's less. Might be similar to a .38 Special in all reality.
