| Armscor ammunition.
Armscor ammunition is on sale at Cheaper Than Dirt - America's Ultimate Shooting Sports Discounter. They have .45acp for $16.49 per box of 50. All other popular calibers are even cheaper! Armscor makes pretty high quality ammunition but is often overlooked or disregarded by many shooters that aren't aware of it's quality. While it's not the best ammo available, it is rated high when compared to other European ammunition manufacturers offerings. I've used Armscor in every popular chambering and have always had consistant hits, ignition & reliability, it's relatively clean burning too. For the $'s, it's pretty hard to beat.

Their 10mm is real 10mm but the .357 Mag stuff is pretty weak.
CTD sucks on the shipping and why I don't buy from them. Two boxes is $15.00 shipped which eats up any savings.

You're right, their shipping is quite expensive. Armscor ammo can also be found at some LGS's for around the same cost which is where I got mine. You are also correct about their .357mag's, I never ran them through the skyscreens but judging by the recoil alone, I'd say they fall somewhere between .38spl's & .357mag's. The .45's .40S&W and 9mm are about their best value. That shipping does negate the savings as you pointed out so you'd have to find them locally, I use Cabelas "ship to store" option for most of my ammo & loading components so I can avoid paying shipping charges. They don't seem to stock Armscor but they do have PRVI Partizan (PPU) which is also a good value for the dollar.

I find Armscor 10mm at CTD and other places around $22 a box but then you have shipping. I get it at the LGS for $25 out the door so a little less than on-line. Where you can score well on-line is when they offer free or $5 shipping and that is about the only time I spring for it.
