I don't have an LCR but I load the 115gr Speer Gold Dot JHPs in my .327 FM GP100... love it! Obbviously the GP is a much heavier gun to help deal with recoil. You might consider trying the Federal 85gr reduced recoil .327 load as well.

I've tried the Federal and Speer .327 100g and prefer the Speer. However, to me both are rather snappy rounds and not comfortable to fire for extended range time.

The 32 H&R, however was very pleasant to shoot.

I am comfortable carrying either caliber as my SD round.

Just wish the ammo was easier to find and less expensive.

My 327 choice is Federal's 85gr HydraShok. Be sure to wear hearing protection at the range because it's seriously loud out of this 2" barrel. Recoil is not totally intolerable but it does have some serious thump to it. Federal advertises 1400fps and 370 ft/lbs of muzzle energy. Plenty potent, but loud.
For 32 H&R MAG, which I may even prefer for defensive carry, Hornady's 80gr FTX is pretty sweet. 1150fps MV, 235 ft/lbs ME.

Don't have the LCR but carry the 3in SP101. Love the 100gr Speer Gold Dot. Yes it's snappy to begin with but it doesn't take long to get use to it. I have killed a deer and a coyote with that round. It's very effective.
