Federal Auto Match .22lr

Does anyone have experience with this ammo? Local mom and pop hardware store got a bunch in and I was thinking about giving it a try. Opinions either way will be greatly appreciated.

Use it a lot. Mostly because it's been the most readily available around here. No problems at all. It may lead-up the feed ramp a bit, but nothing a standard cleaning can't get off.

Doesn't run at all through my SR22 pistol. I mean not a single one after the first shot, doesn't feed after that. Fired about 10 rounds and gave them away.

Automatch is one of my favorites. I have shot it in all of my guns and never had a single issue. SR22 pistol, 1022, American, and revolver.
If I have to choose between Automatch and most other brands on a shelf I will go with it. Great value for the price.

That's so weird how it can run so good in yours but not at all in mine... I've heard of that before though, in other threads.

Works better than anything Remington that's for sure. Works great in both pistols and rifles. Pick it up whenever the price is right $20-$25.

Didn't work in my SR22P, either.

The Federal runs fine in mine SR22p! 300 round with no hangups.

It's amazing how it works in 1 persons & not the others

Remington Golden Bullets work great also, for me

I prefer to shoot "match" ammo through bolt guns myself. Sometimes, standard velocity .22LR will not cycle semi-autos.

Works well in my American. Ordered two bricks from Bass Pro yesterday at $20/325. With no tax and free shipping on my order, that's a pretty solid price.

Federal Auto Match is the ammo my P22 and my Sig 1911-22 prefer. Runs perfectly in both of them. My LGS usually has a good supply for $18.95. I try to keep 20 or 30 boxes in my supply. It runs fine in the grandkid's 10-22's too.

Looks like mostly positive reviews. I will stop in today and pick up a few bricks. In this age of purchasing .22lr being spotty at times I like to grab it whenever I can. Upside to this store is no limit on bricks purchased. I could clean the shelf, if my wallet allowed, which it won't these days

While I prefer copper washed .22lr ammo in general to reduce lead fouling, I've put thousands of rounds of the AutoMatch through my MKIII512 and GSG 1911-22 over the years with no significant issues (decent accuracy as well in my experience).
